Cat Tissue Cover

This is a cover for tissues that I made for my Mom. My daughter says it looks like a dog, but it's supposed to be a kitty cat! I think that the cheeks turned out a bit too large, but Mom will love it! I hope anyway!!!

This cow is a toaster cover! She's all white and black, though it seems in the picture that there are shadows or something, so it looks pink or brown tinged in places, but it's really white. She was fun to make! Now I may have to make the cow plastic bag holder that I found a pattern for!!!

Cat Tunnel

This is a cat tunnel that I made with some extra yarn that I had. I got 3 metal hoops from a freecycler and figured I'd do this with it! That's Morgaine inside of it. She likes to lay down instead of play! But the other cats like to play in it!

Bear Bag Holder

I just finished this bear for a friend of mine and thought I might as well post her picture! She's a bag holder. My daughter says she looks like a Koala. I found the pattern at www.freepatterns.com. Just search for 'bagdelena bear'.

Well I am finally finished with this afghan! This all started almost 2 years ago when I was trying to decide on my next project. My daughter was tired of going with me to the yarn store every week, so she said I should do something challenging to me. So I told her she could pick out what I should do. So she asked me to make this afghan. It's an Annie's Attic pattern from the Annie's Crochet Quilt Afghan Club, called Points of Light. I found it really challenging. At first I couldn't figure out how to do the squares - you start with 1 color and make a triangle, then add another color and finish the rest of the square. Then of course put them all together. I had to stop working on it entirely because I couldn't crochet. I have rheumatoid arthritis and my wrists and hands were the worst. But after medication, etc., it's gotten so I can do a bit of crocheting again, so I started working on this. I wanted to finish by her birthday which is March 16th, so I made it! WHEW. She's thrilled with it and I'm just glad it's done!!!!
